A team of seven students from BİLGİ’s Electrical-Electronics and Computer Engineering Departments successfully presented their project, “Experiencing Ancient Ephesus: A Journey Through Time with 3D, XR, and AI,” at the 22nd Annual International Conference on History & Archaeology: From Ancient to Modern, held in Athens between June 3–6, 2024. The project was developed by third-year students Arda Güler, Alp Kayra Dağıstanlı, Arif Emre Sevil, Ceren Özcan, Mert Kaytaz, Serkan Kahraman, and Yiğit Bozkurt, and was presented by Arda Güler.
The project ‘Irony Detection in Turkish Texts’ developed by BİLGİ Department of Computer Engineering students Yunus Emre Şimşek, Tarık Emre Talay, and Pelin Kaya under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Tuğba Dalyan was entitled to be supported within the scope of 2209-A Research Project Support Programme for Undergraduate Students conducted by TÜBİTAK Science Fellowships and Grant Programme Directorate (BİDEB).
